TOPIC: ROTTENNESS FOR PERFUME

Welcome to a month of exchanging strange odours and rottenness in your life for godly smell, fragrance or perfume. God shall invade that rotten and stinking area of your life and convert stink into sweet smell in Jesus name.

God shall take away your rottenness and give you perfume in exchange. Is there a repugnant smell that has kept good things out of your reach? Get ready, my God shall remove it by fire. He shall deliver you from the power of evil perfume. All those who want you to stink before helpers of destiny shall be disappointed over your life this month.


Physically speaking, a smell is the sensation that results when olfactory receptors in the nose are stimulated by particular chemicals in gaseous form. Everyone, including plants and animals, carries a distinctive smell. Each of these living things is identified by its characteristic smell. For example, the deer carries such a notoriously pungent smell that whenever it comes within the vicinity of a predator (an enemy), the predator can easily decipher or decode and eventually locate the deer with precision or accuracy. This is why in most cases, when the deer is under attack, it would pant after water to dip itself to suppress the smell and deodorize itself. This is reflected in what the Psalmist wrote about this animal:

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. [2] My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

Even human beings make one effort or the other to ensure they not only get rid of repulsive odour, but also carry a decent smell through the use of assorted perfumes. For instance, when we wake up in the morning it is always the case that we have a bath so as to remove every offensive smell from us and be refreshed. Manufacturers have tried to produce all kinds of perfumes, deodorants and toothpastes to see that we do not become a smell tank to our fellow human beings; either in the body or the mouth. This is why we need perfumes.
It has been observed that every race possesses a characteristic smell that distinguishes it from the other. In most cases the smell of a particular race may not be noticed by people of that same race since they all carry the same smell but rather by people of a different race. In other words, the white race would smell differently from the black race.
Scientists at the Illinois Institute of Technology have found that the average individual may emit at least thirty-six (36) distinct odours. But according to Dr. Andrew Dravnieks, director of the odour experiments, a person may actually give off more than a hundred (100) separate odours. By learning how to identify the combination, a person could be identified by "scent prints" just as fingerprints are used to identify people today. Dogs have always been known to be better "smellers" than humans. Generally speaking, a dog's nose is a million times more sensitive and adjusted for smelling and distinguishing of smells than the human nose……….
Satan is a foul, filthy spirit and, of course, a specialist at adulterating, polluting or altering the aromatic smells of people. He uses evil smell to keep helpers of destiny and good things of life out of the reach of people. Through this evil smell he also magnetizes evil to them. He fights to see that God's people become write-offs as they carry strange odours in the spirit realm. My prayer for you as you read this bulletin and pray along is that no foul spirit shall write you off as an abandoned property or project in Jesus name. Every spiritual event programmed up by dark forces to write you off shall expire by fire; and you shall command respect and favour in Jesus name.
A lady in her early forties had a dream in which she was sprayed perfume by a strange being who claimed to be her spouse. When she woke up people surprisingly started avoiding her and gazed at her with a sneering look. To make matters worse, while men in the physical were avoiding her, the spirit spouse was, on the other hand, having a field day, always making love to her in her sleep. The evil smell the strange man cast on her made her appealing to him alone and not to her spouse-to-be in the physical. Essentially the spirit spouse used the evil smell to seal up her marital destiny. Her only hope was to cry out to God to spray her with a new aromatic fragrance and change her smell.
It is possible for a sweet smell to be converted into a stink by the devil. The Bible says:

And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink…

Instead of smelling of sweet perfume, they'll stink…

The devil can make people stink before God and their destiny helpers. Why do you think people dream of visiting the toilet before a major breakthrough? Why do people find themselves urinating or becoming stained with excrement in their dreams just at the verge of a major breakthrough?
A lady dreamed of standing in between two pits. One of the pits contained gold and precious jewels while the other contained excrement. All of a sudden a strange hand pushed her into that containing the excrements. She got to the office the following morning to discover that a sack letter was waiting for her. The boss, who, hitherto, loved and cherished her, suddenly developed a very strong hatred for her. This was no surprise because her smell had been altered negatively.
There are many people walking the streets of life whose smells have been altered for evil. They need to cry out to God to change their smells if things must work well for them.
Another promising young man was doing very well in his office until he dreamed one day that someone wearing a mask brought a stinking liquid in a pot and poured it on him. He said he could only use his hands to defend his face, and therefore the liquid poured on other parts of the body. Guess what happened? Immediately after this incidence his boss' attitude towards him changed negatively. He was shocked to hear his boss say, for the first time, "I will deal with you." To shorten the story, he lost his job. His once appealing smell had been converted to a putrid sniff. I wished he knew what to do then. It was only when he came to my ministry that he learnt what harm the devil had done to his destiny. It was too late for him because by this time so many years had elapsed and even the boss was already swimming in his own personal problems. He lamented not having had this revelation earlier. All he would have done was to reverse the evil smell and ask God to change his smell for good.
Have you observed that people hate you for no just cause? Do they find your words repulsive? Are you rejected where you should be accepted and celebrated? Have your customers abandoned you, including your very close ones? Does your spouse suddenly find you unattractive after having had certain dreams? You need to cry out 'Change my smell, O Lord' before it is too late.
The Bible says:
Proverbs 30:21-23 (KJV)
For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear: [22] For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat; [23] For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.


A lady wept bitterly after she heard me preach on this topic of smell . According to her, it was all bliss in her matrimonial home until one day her husband, who told her he was rushing out to get something suddenly, returned a few minutes later to accuse her of emitting a bad odour. Initially she thought it was one of those silly jokes of his; but it was far from that. She was to learn that this was the last bullet of the devil to silence their once blissful home blessed with children. Thus, the marriage dissipated because Satan spiritually altered her smell without her knowledge.
There was a pastor who laboured for eighteen years without anything to show for his toils. Although it was indisputable that God called him into the ministry, there was a strange government that vowed he was never going to have breakthrough in the ministry. He preached with all his might and heart but no one blessed him. After a powerful message, people would congratulate him and confess they were blessed by his message, but would not bless him financially or materially in return. What a wicked invisible government that was behind his case! One day, he prayed and cried out to God to show him the evil horn that was scattering his harvest (Zech. 1:18). Then in the dream he saw an old woman sitting atop his pulpit. He saw that each time he was preaching the old woman urinated upon him. What abomination! As a result of this urine bath, dozens of flies trailed him spiritually wherever he went. Of course, flies symbolize the spirit of decay, rejection, and rottenness. As indicated by these swam of flies, it was clear that the anointing of God upon his life was rendered stale and stinking (Eccl 10:1). The young preacher then asked God, "Lord, what do you want me to do?" The Lord told him to command the strange woman to fall down and die. He did that and asked God the next step, "What do you want me to do next, Lord?" The Lord told him to request a change of smell. He prayed and God answered his prayer. From that day things changed positively for him and his ministry.
It is the spiritual smell you carry that actually determines the grade of people you attract, the quality of things you attract, the activities that take place in and around you, and your placement or positioning in life. Your location determines your smell, your smell determines your placement, and your placement determines your allocation. In other words, it is where you are that reveals the kind of smell you emit, the position you are given, and the reward you get. Smell is localized. For instance, a steward just coming out of the kitchen would carry the flavour of the kitchen, while the person who just finished using the toilet would have a different kind of smell. If you are just coming from a brothel, no doubt, you would smell like one of them. Such a smell could dispel the blessings of God from you because you stink before the Lord, except you wash yourself in the blood of Jesus.
THE POWER OF PERFUME
When God perfumes your life favour sets in, and when favour sets in anything you do provokes unbelievable results and people's patronage. For instance a favoured person may carry a worthless substance like sand, but people would rather see it to be like rice. Favour can turn a mess into a miracle, mistake into a style, attack into relevance, sweat into sweetness and labour into high favour.
Favour may come into your life through any of the four ways listed below:

Ø Favour by public relations.

Ø Favour by diplomacy (sending gifts to someone).

Ø Favour by skillfulness and expertise.

Ø Favour by the sovereign act of God (divine favour).

God commands His anointing into your life but you must understand that the anointing without an accompanying smell is not as effective as would be expected. God expects you to have a combination of both the anointing and perfume in order to be fruitful to God and to yourself. It is a combination of spiritual perfume (smell or aura) that gladdens and satisfies the heart. The Bible says:
Proverbs 27:9 (KJV)
Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man's friend by hearty counsel.


The anointing of God will enable or empower you, but the perfume of God will announce and publicize you everywhere. You cannot do without one, you need both.
It is possible for a man to be loaded with fire and anointing and yet lack spiritual perfume. This, of course, is unusual. God is interested in your being filled with the anointing as much as He is interested in saturating your life with His perfume. The God who loaded you with His power would want you to affect the lives of other people positively with that power. This is why He perfumes those He has chosen and announces them; thereby linking them to those that are relevant in fulfilling their visions and goals in life. God perfumes you according to your destination in life.
God instructed Moses to prepare the anointing oil and perfume and consecrate the tabernacle of the congregation. You cannot do with one alone, you need both. Like needle and thread works together to give the best results so does the anointing and perfume. The Bible says:
Exodus 30:25-26, 35-36 (KJV)

And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil. [26] And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony, [36] And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy: [36] And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.


You are the spiritual tabernacle of God and you need both ingredients in your vessel in order to be resourceful.
The case of Esther was not different. She was beautiful, innocent and respectful but came from a home or background where Satan wasted and operated freely the arrows of premature death against her parent. It took her six months to prepare herself with ointment (anointing) and another six months with perfume before she appeared before the king. The outcome of the combined treatment with oil and perfume ended up in her being chosen. She may not have been the prettiest of the virgins that were taken to the king's harem, but it was indisputable that she was the most favoured. Although the oil brought out her beauty, but the perfume invaded the secret place of the heart of King Ahasuerus. Many ladies are beautiful and yet wasting away, while there are those who find it difficult to choose from the teeming suitors knocking on their doors.

Now when every maid's turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus, after that she had been twelve months, according to the manner of the women, (for so were the days of their purifications accomplished, to wit, six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with sweet odours, and with other things for the purifying of the women;) [17] And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.

It takes the fragrance of your perfume to attract the king of your destiny into your life, whoever that king may be. When you put on perfume people are able to perceive your tantalizing scent afar off, and respond to it directly or indirectly. Without doubt, your spiritual perfume can move a suitor from a far country to you, even if it might cause the person some sleepless nights. The Bible says:

"The king lies on his bed, enchanted by the fragrance of my perfume.
Between Rachel and her sister, Leah, it took the smell of favour on Rachel for her to be preferred above her tender, lovely eyed elder sister. The Bible says:
Genesis 29:17-18 (KJV)
Leah was tender eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured. [18] And Jacob loved Rachel; and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter.

Leah's succulent, lovely charming eyes could not do the job the way the smell of favour over Rachel's life did.

Perfume attracts and calls for attention towards the carrier. It gives fragrance to the user and ushers in freshness. It has the ability to drive away flies from rottenness. These flies represent strange spirits that follow people because of the stinking smell they carry spiritually.

BREAKTHROUGH PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2010

1. Plead the blood of Jesus upon your life and ask God to wash your garment as white as snow.

2. Heavenly perfume! Change my smell and make me acceptable wherever I go.

4. Lord, let my life and sacrifices come before your throne as a sweet smelling savour.

5. Holy Spirit! Breathe upon me and dissolve the power of evil perfume from my life.

6. I break myself loose from the bondage of inherited evil perfume.

7. Spirit of divine acceptance! Manifest in my life now.

8. Every evil perfume pulling the wrong people into my life, expire now.

9. Every evil perfume scaring God out of my life, vanish.

10. Holy Spirit! Anoint my life with your holy perfume and change my smell.

11. By the power that changed the smell of Jacob, O Lord, change my smell.

12. I claim the spirit of divine favour and break myself loose from shame and disgrace.

13. In your never-changing power, O Lord, change the smell of my family.

14. Power to magnetize favour! Manifest in my life and family.

15. Blood of Jesus! Flow through me and change my smell.

16. Thou power of God, change the smell of my ministry and place me where my gift would be celebrated.

17. Every dead fly in the ointment of my life that has altered the smell of favour in my life, be flushed out.

18. Every strange perfume and garment of decay, rottenness and rejection lurking around my life, be wiped out by fire.

19. I nullify the effects of every strange perfume targeted at my life, family, and ministry.

20. Let the power of Jezebel perfume attracting strange men and women into my life, break and let me go.

21. I release myself from the control of evil perfume causing feelings of lust and immorality in me.

22. You evil spirits tracing the scent of my blessings, be wiped out by fire.

23. You evil spirits following me everywhere I go, I challenge you by the blood of Jesus.

24. Fire of God! Roast every black book Satan has written against my life.

25. Every stubborn problem anchored to my destiny through evil perfumes, break now.

26. Everyone secretly urinating upon my life, project and property to render my effort ineffective, fall down and die.

27. Accident-inducing perfume! Be nullified by the blood of Jesus.

28. Every miracle-killing seed buried in the garden of my life, emerge to the surface and die.

29. Holy Spirit! Introduce your divine perfume into my life and change my situation now.

30. Blood of Jesus! Nullify every satanic ointment scaring my spouse from me.

31. Every perfume of setback buried into my destiny, come out with your roots and backfire.

32. Every cloud of rejection following me everywhere I go, vanish now.

33. Blood of Jesus! Dissolve every strange perfume scaring customers and helpers of destiny from my life.

34. O God arise! Deliver my life from the effects of evil perfume.

35. Every satanic prayer issued against me to alter the glorious scent of my life, backfire.

36. Lord, break me off the circle of poverty and settle me by fire.

37. Heavenly perfume! Invade rottenness in my life.

38. Whatever enemies have done to alter the smell of my life, be reversed now.

39. I bind the influence of evil perfume over my life.

40. Holy Spirit! Anoint me with your ointment and perfume.

41. Helpers of destiny! What are you waiting for! Locate me by fire.

42. Holy Spirit! Release me from the unpleasant perfume of the past and perfume me afresh for a new level of life.

43. My story! Change now by fire.

44. Every evil perfume announcing me in the camp of my enemies, vanish now.

45. Witchcraft perfume! Fade away.

46. Holy Spirit! Switch on the light of favour upon my life.

47. Let the perfume that will take me from where I am to where I ought to be manifest in my life by fire.

48. My life! Command sweet odour.

49. Every door of breakthrough that I am almost entering, I break in now by fire.

50. Holy Spirit! Vomit your transforming perfume upon my life.
